TEXTURE PLATE PREORDERS CLOSING PERMANENTLY MARCH 31, 2026!!
Jason and I have made the decision to close down texture plate preorders March 31, 2026. After That you will no longer be able to preorder plates and we will be retiring that part of the business.
The website WILL REMAIN OPEN and we will begin taking orders for our shears between April and May of this year.
Thank you all so much for the patronage and friendships the last decade has brought us!
ORDER UPDATES (03/24/2026)
We have a lot of people (record numbers of them) wanting to get their texture plates ordered before we close down, so please make sure you understand that our lead time will need to be extended in order to get them all completed. I will be working through the weekends to try and get them all done, but these are handmade tools: we don't use lasers or any fancy equipment and they take time to make. Still, I will never compromise quality just to rush them out the door.
On the bench I have orders up to February 14th (around the time we announced the closure of the texture plate business) and enough steel to get us through to orders placed on the 1st of March (with more steel on the way.) I will continue to update here in detail as we work through everyone's orders!
